Door Gaskets

Must replace a worn gasket on the insulated opaque door of a walk-in or reach-in cooler or freezer. Replacement gasket must meet the manufacturer’s installation specifications, specifically regarding dimensions, materials, attachment method, style, compression and magnetism. Useful life period for door gaskets is defined as 4 years.

Auto Door Closers

Walk-In Cooler or Freezer Doors
$40.00 - $50.00 closer

Auto-closer should be applied to the main insulated opaque door(s) of cooler or freezer. Auto-closer must be able to firmly close the door when it is within one inch of full closure. Useful life period for auto-closers is defined as 8 years.

Reach In Cooler or Freezer Doors
$40.00 - $50.00 closer

Auto-closer device should be applied to the glass reach-in door of walk-in cooler or freezer. The reach in door must have a minimum perimeter of 16 feet. The auto-closer must be able to firmly close the door. Useful life period for auto-closers is defined as 8 years.

Strip Curtains

Must install new strip curtains or plastic swinging doors on doorways of walk-in boxes and refrigerated warehouses. This rebate is not available for replacement of existing strip curtains that have useful life left. Useful life period for strip curtains is defined as 4 years.

LED Refrigerated Case Lighting

LED Refrigerated Case Lighting

Qualifying LED lighting system must replace existing five-foot equivalent fluorescent lighting in existing medium temperature or low temperature display cases. The LED lighting system wattage must be less than 42 Watts/lamp for center lamps and 21 Watts/lamp for end lamps. Lumen levels and Color Rendering Index (CRI) may be decreased due to this retrofit. Rebate based on number of linear feet of lamps installed and the type of lighting replaced. Useful life period for case lighting is defined as 16 years.

Vending Machine Controller

Vending Machine Controller

Intended for refrigerated vending machines containing only non-perishable bottled and canned beverages. Controller must include a passive infrared occupancy sensor to turn off fluorescent lights and compressor when surrounding area is unoccupied for 15 minutes or longer. Control logic should periodically power up machine at 2-hour intervals to maintain product temperature and provide compressor protection. Refurbished vending machines that include this option are eligible. Useful life period for vending machine controllers is defined as 5 years.

Energy Star^® Commercial Ice Machines

Energy Star Commercial Ice Machines

Ice machines must be tested in accordance with the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) Standard 810. Visit www.ari.org for product information and testing procedures. Specifications are available at www.energystar.gov/cfs and www.cee1.org. Includes machines generating ice cubes that are 60 grams (2 oz.) or lighter. It also includes flaked, crushed and fragmented ice makers. Only air-cooled machines (self contained, ice making heads, or remote condensing). The entire ARI tested ice making system must be purchased. Remote machines must be purchased with qualifying remote condenser or remote condenser/compressor unit. The efficiency specifications for the two qualifying tiers are equivalent to Energy Star or CEE Tier III. Useful life period for vending machine controllers is defined as 12 years.
