Manage your MID Electric Services

Whether you’re new to MID or a long-time customer, here’s the information you need to get service at your home, change service, or report a problem.

Start or Change Electric Service with MID

To start Electric Service for your home, call:

Moving or Discontinue Service

When planning a move or discontinuing service, call at least one business day in advance.

If you are discontinuing service, provide the exact date that you want your service to be ended.

Deposits

Please refer to the MID Fee Schedule for deposit information.

Appointment Time Frame

In most instances, you need not be present for MID to provide a service connection or repair to your home or business. However, if your presence is required, you have the right to request a mutually agreed-upon appointment within a 4-hour period.
